Quality, hand-crafted instruments at affordable prices, with appearance, playability, and sound a priority. Dulcimer tapes and CDs also available, as well as instruction books. With the cutting edge technology of our laser engraver, we can customize wood, glass and space age plastics into personalized rosewood pens, engraved glassware, trophies, plaques, and much more. We have been at the same location since 1988 and plan to be here for many more! When opening in 1988 Jeff made only mountain dulcimers in the workshop behind his house. They renovated the store and the basement of the building on Main Street to let them build the instruments in Hardy. Over the years they have added the bowed psaltry, the lap harp and finally the hammered dulcimer, all made in the shop on Main Street. Jeff and Debbie Kamps named their shop after the creek that runs through their 40 acres. The shop is also known as the old drugstore building and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Most "old timers" remember stopping in to get a soda after the old movie theater down the street let out. A soda fountain ran along the west wall and tables were scattered around the shop for eating burgers, sipping milk shakes and hangin' out. Jeff and Debbie invite you to stop in and hear the sounds of the Ozarks.
